PHENO 2005 SYMPOSIUM:
SPEAKER INFORMATION
Posted 4/26/05
Each plenary and parallel room will be equipped with the following:
- LCD projector
- Overhead projector for transparencies
- Lavaliere clip-on or wireless microphones
- Laser pointers
Please prepare electronic talks (plenary and parallel) as pdf or PowerPoint (ppt) files. Since pdf is most likely to work, we appreciate pdf if at all possible.
You may send the talk beforehand by email to conference@pheno.info by FRIDAY NOON, APRIL 29 (method of choice).
You alternatively can bring your file on a USB stick, CD-ROM or your own laptop.
Mac Users: Please remember to bring the right adapter.
Speakers may test their file/laptop before each session and during the breaks, which given the tight schedule is strongly recommended.
Monday morning Plenary Speakers in the 8:30-10:30 Session:
If possible, please be in Tripp Commons (Memorial Union, 2nd floor) by 8:00 AM if you need to either load your talk or test your laptop.
Since we plan to put all talks online, speakers using their own laptop are kindly requested to send their talk to conference@pheno.info. For transparencies, if possible, please send a short email that you plan to do so and be prepared to have your transparencies scanned for later online access.
Thank you for your efforts and cooperation!
